What I Would Do

for this entire collection. Absolutely pure brilliance in perfect spring colors (even though it's her AW10 collection). Each piece is so subtly sweet but with a twist.

KARLA SPECTIC- my new favorite designer.

Nasty Gal drape jacket : Eight Sixty tunic tank : Romeo & Juliet Couture knee pad leggings : Chloe gladiator sandals : F21 sunnies : Alex and Chloe cubic cross necklace

I'm lovin' this drapey jacket from Nasty Gal. I decided to style it differently than I did here. And who doesn't like a little knee pad action? Hubby commented on how weird they look, but not like I ever take his comments to heart anyway (ok, maybe sometimes). If I did, I would be wearing a short body-con minidress all the time. ;)

Alas, I have finally given in to the realization that me and these Chloe oh-so-perfect summer sandals are not meant to be. They are too small width wise. So so sad. For those who wear a narrow size 8 or even a 7.5, these sandals are available at my Ebay shop here.

Can anything be more perfect?

Wedge on one side, architectural heel on the other.

Four buckles for ankle support and flair.

Brown and gold contrast for drama.

I only wish the gold heel combination came in black.

The other items in the new collection are pretty amazing as well.

thrifted top : Hyden Yoo trench : G1 cropped khakis (last worn here but without suspenders removed) : blue suede Chucks : carved wooden skull necklace from Parts & Labour

This has been deemed by a friend as my pirate's outfit which is entirely fine by me since probably 20% of my clothing references the high seas in some way, shape, or form. Apparently, I just can't stay away from stripes and of course, I unintentionally don a skull and crossbones necklace removing any chance of not being part of Jack Sparrow's merry crew.

Moving onto another blockbuster hit, I found this oh-so-perfect khaki trench by Hyden Yoo. After being inspired by Sherlock Holmes, I found the design of this coat rather appealing. Look at that generous back flap! I've been looking for a trench coat, but wanted one that wasn't especially long and had some features that could stand out from the pack. Unfortunately, Burberry is out of the question at the moment, so I was lucky to come across this gem from up-and-coming Mr. Yoo (who moved to New York and started a line after winning $50,000 from Fear Factor). He just also happens to be from Houston. Ok, so I didn't really take a great pic of the front details and no, I didn't wear khaki-on-khaki. I just put the coat on for the photo. Yeah, I couldn't wait to show it. Anywho, better pic of it later.

BTW, Almost-Crazy Anita Slasher is my new pirate name given to me by the Pirate Name Generator. What's yours??

My fave Rocco yet. Love the quilting and classic, versatile color. I need more brown in my purse collection, and this would surely fill that void.

I Like Turtles

Just some photos I took around the bedroom.

The Target collabs have been hit or miss for me, but when this dress from the Target x Jonathan Saunders collection appeared at my local store, I pretty much fell in love. The black and red block coloring and the space age quilted red bands and shoulders had me at hello.

I think I'm conjuring up some demons in this photo.

And if you don't know what I'm talking about with my title, you've got to check this out. Bryan and I can't stop saying this at random moments.
