This Heat

// bunny tee from Thailand / F21 chambray boyfriend shirt / Rag & Bone pants / Zara messenger / jewelry from local shops / Converse Chucks / F21 sunglasses //

Been dancing my booty off to Dance Central on the Xbox Kinect. It has quickly proven to be the perfect indoor activity as the temperatures rise into the 90s.

Case in point...

I finally made it into Nundini after constantly passing it by and picked out a nice frozen cup of pistachio-flavored gelato. Thinking that it would survive a 5 second walk to car, I paid for my treat and walked out. The cup quickly runneth over. I was forced to suck up whatever semi-solid goodness that was left. Ah well, lesson learned. At least this gives me a good reason to return. I still have their deli and wine selection to pore through which is no small feat.

Sorry for the delay in putting up the last set of photos. I guess getting back into the groove of things took longer than I thought. Thailand felt more like an adventure with all the culture and history it had to offer. Although I don't miss the heat and humidity that hits you right when you walk out the door, I do miss eating Thai food every day, the friendly faces, and getting pampered with a 2-hour massage for a mere 12 bucks. It was wonderful while it lasted, and I would recommend the trek to anyone!

Eat Pray and Eat Some More

Hello everyone,

I'm back from Thailand, which now seems like a fuzzy dream with floating Buddhas and lots of dancing coconuts. Actually, come to think of it, that was a dream. But really, my experience couldn't have been any better thanks to some wonderful friends who were willing to put up with me and the hubs and guide us all over the country. These are just a sampling of more than 850 photos- all taken with my new Canon S95, which has really impressed me for a compact. I just couldn't imagine carrying my slr and lenses on the trip, so I went all out on a pocket-sized camera that would last me for a good many years. This is the first of two installments of photos. I will be adding more pics to my Flickr including lots more food shots.
