All I Really Wanna Wear

// Majestic Paris striped linen top / Flying Monkey jeans / vintage boots / Alexander Wang "Diego" bag / Target sunglasses / Lucky Brand nautilus necklace //

Hey guys! I'm wearing stripes from my new favorite T-shirt line, Majestic Paris. I was pleasantly surprised that the shirt, which would normally be 2 sizes too big, fits perfectly oversized to my liking. The loose, slightly flared sleeves and the worn-in look of the print also brings a unique flavor to what would otherwise be just another striped top to add to my count (although you can never really have enough).

You'll be hard-pressed to find me in anything but "easy" clothing these days. Having to wear business/business-casual on most days has really taken a serious toll on my style mojo. All I really want to wear now are slouchy tops and small, comfy bottoms. Boy, do I envy you guys who can wear practically whatever you want at your workplace. It's a privilege, I say!

  1. Such a cute outfit! I'm totally with you on "easy" clothes at the moment...I'm even super into the way they look, regardless of the comfy factor. But I'll certainly take the comfy factor any day! I really like your blog by the way.

    1. Thank you Kristen! I know what you mean. I love the look of comfy clothes too. Oversized and slouchy just evoke that laid back vibe.

  2. Love this casual yet stylish look! I agree, you never have enough striped tees. Unfortunately, I can't wear anything I would like at work either. Would make life so much easier if I could. :) xx Kayin

  8. Whew! *sigh of relief* I'm pleased that someone thinks the way that I do. I've been in stripes and jeans or a simple top with boyfriend jeans all this summer. The only difference is we wear boots so much over the course of a year that I've switched to sandals instead. I tend to buy striped tops from French brands at least 2 sizes larger. I've just found these incredible ones by Amour Lux and the fit is far better than the usual Petit Bateau that I normally wear. I wish I have slim legs like yours! Skinny jeans look far better on you than me.

    1. Haha, yes, I've always proclaimed that stripes and jeans would be my uniform if we had to wear just one outfit! I probably do need to wear more sandals during the summer and let my feet breathe. I'm known to wear boots all year long even in this ridiculous heat. Thanks for mentioning Amour Lux. I'm always on the lookout for new brands. They seem to have a really nice selection of breton shirts. Oh, and I would like to see more outfit posts, missy! You looked fab in your boyfriend jeans!

  10. Great top. It seems very soft and comfortable to wear. I love the fit. Casual but very elegant.
Your bag is very cute too. I hadn't seen that colour before. I really like A. Wang bags but I find them very heavy and I'm afraid I'll regret it if I buy one. I'll always carry so much stuff in my bags... How do you find it? Is it comfortable to wear?

    1. Hi Sonia!

I'll admit the Diego is the heaviest of my bags because of all the metal studs. It can get pretty burdensome on the shoulders after a while, so I would not use it for travel that's for sure. I never really thought twice about the bag until they came out with this color, Oasis, with rose gold studs. It was only out for one season, and I dismissed the idea of ever finding one. As fate has it, I was able to find a great deal by a local seller that I couldn't pass up, which is how it came to be in my collection! ;)
