Checks & Balances

// Forever 21 flannel top / Zara pink pants / Common Projects ankle boots / Dimoni bag //

These light pink pants have been more versatile than I originally thought. I've been searching for a good pair of white ones for awhile now with no luck and finally settled on baby pink ones that come to find out- work just as well. The pink is subtle enough to complement most colors and the hint of pastel-ly color works great with my spring wardrobe.

I'm also bringing flannel plaid back. Not that people haven't been trying to bring it back for years, but it's a relatively new undertaking for me. I never got into the grunge movement, but I think living with a college roommate who was obsessed with Nirvana and Courtney Love must count for something.

Has anyone else noticed that Santigold's new single sounds very similar to "Making Plans for Nigel?"

I have the same with my mint pants, very subtile but still a beautiful hue of pastel.

  6. I love the flanno! I'm from a small country town and my dad and brother always wear their flannel tops out hunting (gosh I sound like a country bumpkin haha) but I like how you've matched the flannel shirt with some skinny jeans - it looks great xx
