Silk blouses have become my new obsession. The best place to find them? A thrift store. Any thrift store. You will most likely run into some beautiful soft shirts dying to be worn! This screaming bright magenta top was obviously calling my name. I realized it was on the short side when I put it on. Just a little tied knot will do in those instances. I have found several more silky blouses since this particular one and will be showing them off at some point along the way.
This past weekend (I know, it's been a week. I'm a little behind on posts due to studying for the Bar.), I celebrated a friend's birthday at 13 Celsius, a quaint wine bar with a distinctly rustic feel. The ceilings have been stripped to reveal the original wood and as you can see, looks quite amazing! I'm not much of a wine drinker, unless I'm enjoying a nice meal or watching a movie at home with B. Wine has a tendency to make me reeeal sleepy, so I ordered a Bellini instead. I know it's still wine, but something about the "sparking" part of it and the pureed peaches seemed to perk me right up. There's nothing like a brunch cocktail in the wee hours of the night.
