Out-of-the-Closet w/ Yana M.

Yana is not only gorgeous, but she also has my dream job. She is the marketing director and a buyer for AA Concepts, Inc. which has brought the concept boutique idea to the forefront of Houston fashion and has expanded to cities such as New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Austin to name a few. With Yana's chic sensibilities, a part of AA Concepts' success must be due to her on-spot forecasting of the latest trends.

Style Q & A:

Q: List 3 words that describe you.
A: Indecisive, impatient, random

Q: What designer inspires you the most and why?
A: Rodarte and Vena Cava are great for their femininity and elegance, yet they still have a bit of edgy aesthetic.

Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I pretty much just wear whatever appeals to me on a particular day, so it's a hodgepodge of different looks and colors, though I think anything obviously trendy is best in small doses.

Q: Where do you like to shop locally? Are there any stores you wish were local (include name and location)?
A: The bulk of my wardrobe comes form work (Wish, Duo, Langford Market, Contents, and Method), which has me covered for pretty much any style I would want, but I do check eBay for vintage pieces and shoes. Having access to TopShop would also be fantastic, but not likely to happen in Houston anytime soon.
