My latest foodgasm occurred at Roots Bistro, where the food was fresh, bright, and worth every bite. Not knowing what to expect, Bryan and I went into it with an open mind and very open appetite. The food came out tapas style so expect to order approximately at least two plates per person. I found the 2-plate rule with bread, wine, and sharing one dessert was more than enough to satiate our hunger. But seriously, at a place like this, it's not about scarfing down your meal. Instead, it was the perfect complement to enjoying time with my husband and eating downright good food made of organic and local ingredients.

Also, a shout out to our waiter, Randy, who gave us the best service I ever had in the city. He was patient, helpful, and enthusiastic and went above and beyond to make sure we would get the best experience.
